Do you suffer with dark circles? Do they lower your self-esteem? Although dark circles are not a serious skin problem, they resemble an unhealthy and stressed lifestyle by leaving a dull and exhausted look on your face. The most common cause for dark circles that everyone knows is the lack of sleep. However, not getting enough sleep is only one of the reasons. If you think you have enough sleep but dark circles are showing, here are some causes of dark circles.

Causes of Dark Circles

Straining your eyes for too long without resting, for example constantly staring at your technological devices can cause dark circles. Though sleep deprivation is the most common cause of dark circles, researches show that the main cause for dark circles is stress/depression. Make sure to keep yourself hydrated and maintain a healthy diet by getting enough Iron and Vitamin E!
