Skincare 101: Food Face Scrub!

Applying skincare products are important for your skin, but people tend to forget the importance of exfoliating. Day to day basis, imagine how much dirt for face has to deal with. Exfoliating helps to get rid of dirt, leaving your skin feeling soft, and brighten up your face! Facial scrubs remove dead skin cells and blackheads form the outer layer of your skin – which is most exposed. By using facial scrubs regularly, dead cells would be removed and new skin cells are brought to the surface – keeping your skin nice and fresh. However, some facial scrub products could be too harsh for your skin. Keeping it all natural is the safest, easiest way to go!

Scrubs to Avoid

As mentioned, some scrubs that are too harsh for your skin would not do you favours for your skin. Products that are too harsh could cause redness, which damages your skin – resulting your skin to become even more sensitive. Pores have seen to be enlarged after using these products. There are many gentler exfoliating ingredients in your kitchen that could substitute face scrubs product that works better. Natural ingredients such as rice, sugar, or oatmeal dissolves on your skin as you massage. Works great and tastes good!

To use, apply only a tablespoon and gently massage your skin for 30 seconds. Rinse off with water. To store, put the exfoliator in an air-tight container in a dark and cool place away from sunlight.
